My Mintek dvd player seems to only want to handle a kvcd encoded at 25fps or 29.97. I want to encode at 25fps at 544x576 so I can use a higher bitrate and all. The only problem is, when I play it back on my NTSC tv, the aspect ratio is wrong and the widescreen picture is too squished. Is the any certain settings I should use in tmpg or something in order for it to look right during playback?

Hi Paul...

how does the movie look on your HD? viewed with WinDVD? still squashed? If not, did you encode in 4:3 mode in TMPGEnc?
