Well, I've had success while converting zoolander, I was quite pleased with the result. A friend also manged LOTR2 onto 1 cd with great quality, however, after installing a windows update Q810243: DirectShow playback support for Windows XP Media Center Edition recorded files
I can't get anything in sync, even demultiplexing then multiplexing any MPEG causes the problem, the file gets further out of sync as the movie goes on.
So just to let people know DONT install that update

Thankyou for the advice. I generally keep up to date with the microsoft updates.
It goes to prove not all updates are GOOD updates.
