Have been surfing in this forum for a couple of days and heard a lot of great stuff about your templates. I'm a newbie in this, so please pardon me if the question I have may sound stupid.

I have this error msg "Illegal floating point calculation order" using the latest KVCDx2. This happens when the conversion is around 53%. I'm using ver 2.54.37 TMPGenc.

Is there something I have to do first before the conversion.

Please help!

Hey,
I had the same problem, TMPGEnc saying that error after I press start. I tried that and it didn't work.

hey,

I just got this error too at about 80% done. I'm using TMPGenc 2.54 and kvcdxntsc 1 cd template and I'm wondering if anyone still got this error with TMPGenc 2.55? I'm going to download it right now and try again- if that doesn't work I'll try increasing the DirectShow priority.

thx for the help

I didnt get that error this time, however, I did get the error that fills rest of movie with audio blank...

Oh well...

I changed dvdx (in my case) to sync audio/video,
and ended up with a 444 meg version of resevoir dogs...

Unfortunately, 300 for a min bitrate is too low, and it came out not too good. Also, the audio got worse and worse out of sync as time went on...

....

oh well...I will keep trying...at least the settings listed above worked...
