Hi all

Just wondering when converting to divx what is best resolution to use

I am currently resizing from 720x576 to 640x576 is the best why to go

What your doing is probably fine. Don't have much DivX experience, but I've never seen a 720x576 DivX...apart from one, which had black borders. So, the actual picture resolution was only 640.

Thanks for the response mate

Well i just use the resize option in the actual divx 5.0.3 codec configuration, first i use bitrate calc and i get perfect sizes back never over 700mb
