Same error for "asharp", "gripcrop" and still testing it.

Am I doing something wrong?

big problems Max:

i don't encode avis and never did...only vobs.

if your script can't find the filters,means that they aren't in the
plugins folder in the avisynth 2.5...you forgot to put the filters there!

why don't 352x240 ?

strange values for trim:
begining and ending in the same frame?

Trim(66179,66179)

answer please Max.

Ok did all my testing and this is what is left of the script after taking out
the ones that had errors:

Quote:
[AVISYNTH_New252]
0=nf=0
1=Limiter()
2=MergeChroma(blur(^max_threshold))
3=MergeLuma(blur(0.2))
4=ScriptClip("nf=YDifferenceToNext()"+chr(13)+"nf> =2?unfilter(-(fmin(round(nf)*2,100)),-(fmin(round(nf)*2,100))):TemporalSoften(4,round(1/nf),round(3/nf),0,2)")
5=Limiter()
6=function fmin(int f1,int f2){return(f1<f2)?f1:f2}
^overscan=1
^source_ana=false
^stm1=8
^stm2=32
^max_threshold=1.50

Trim(66179,66179)

answer please Max.
Not sure what you are asking me but 352x240 is what I always use for
resolution for my movies.

I dont know what trim(66179,66179) is?

I downloaded all the filters I could find and put them in the avisynth 2.5
folders like you told me but how do I tell avisynth where to look? What is
the name of the missing filters?

Hi guys,

Please pardon my interruption here in your ongoing conversation ( ), but I just thought I might make a small suggestion/observation as a sympathetic onlooker.

It's pretty obvious that you both are a growing a bit weary/frustrated in your efforts to communicate. I know how frustrating it must be for you both. I'd try to help if I could, but I don't know anything about dvd2svcd.

My suggestion: Max, why not simply follow some of the useful How-To guides provided at kvcd.net that show the more current methodology (Tok) which the vast majority of people here are now using to create their KVCDs, rather than yanking your hair out trying to figure out how to use dvd2svcd to do it? Now, I'm certainly not trying to badmouth dvd2svcd or anything, but barely anyone here is using it anymore for their KVCD conversions...Why not?....because there are better/easier ways (heck, at this point Max it's lookin' like you could even be further off using the old-fashioned fully manual way! I think you'd have less gray hairs that way).

You'll be more up-to-date in the world of KVCD if you use the current methods described in the guides by Black Prince, Red-M, Razorblade, etc. I guess there's even going to be a new version of ACP very soon which might possibly even turn the current combination of MovieStacker + Tok into "yesterday's news" (that is, until the next great innovation comes along, which happens quite often here!). But if you're still using dvd2svcd, you may find yourself even further "behind the pack" when that next innovation comes along. And less people using dvd2svcd=less interested people=less "tech support" for anyone still using it. Sad, but true.

I dunno...just an observation. Best of luck!

dazed&confused my friend you said a mouth full, I my self am dazed and
confused...lol

My problem is im hardheaded once I get started on something I find it
very hard to quit, I have those other programs you mentioned and have
tried them and I did look at most of the guides that explain them.

But my real problem isnt the programs, Avisynth which is a fantastic tool
has made me insane because its the source of all these programs and the
most confusing part of it all.

Eventually I will get to Toc, MovieStacker and ACP but untill I learn how to
use avisynth I will always be behind the power curb.

Hey maybe you can answer this for me, how do I make avisynth see the
place I put my plugins?

"Hey maybe you can answer this for me, how do I make avisynth see the

don't need in version 252,avisynth auto load all filters in the folder "filters".
if you see errors means that you don't have the correct version of the filters,all filters is for avisynth252,see in the link of warpenterprise posted.

about trim(xxx,xxx):
"I dont know what trim(66179,66179) is? "
no?how it appear in the script?
alone?
remove this line with trim.

back to the full script that i post ...copy and paste again.
the script is working...don't edit the script

see this line in your script:
GripCrop(224,352,overscan=1,source_anamorphic=fals e)
how do you enter this values?
don't enter this editing the script,only choose the
"resize to VCD"
in the frameserver tab

Max,all is simple not too complicated.
you need the right versions of the filters,put al in the right folder.
the script is the last best and is working.
no more,all is clear,if you change some,it breaks!
all was posted to you find the best result!
