I use svcd all the way.

I have been using kwags temp on res's of 480x480 and 480x576.

Now, i'm not 100% accurate yet because i'm still doin a million tests a day but i have been successful with these settings-

Use a bitrate calc and let it tell u the vid bitrate.
Add 600 to it and CQ of 62-65 this is as far as i have gotten.
Now, the file size will be not to the max of the cd so i am still workin on that.
