If this has been asked before then sorry, I did try to make a quick check over old posts.

How do I get DVD2SVCD to accept the new CQ-VBR template ?? I only see the option for CBR, CQ and VBR. My usual method is via Fit -CD + Avi Synth script...........

You cant
It only encodes in CQ mode. Maybe DVD2SVCD ( Hello! ) will read this posts and include it in a future release. I already requested the feature to be able to change the VBV buffer value, and he acknowledged that he would included it in a future version.
