I chose to use the 120 min 352 x 576 template and the lotr ttt ee d1 and its only 102 mins long and used x3 prediction and I got a cq 44.89 I wasn't hapy so I thought I'd try the x1 prediction see what that brings but that gave me a shockingly low cq of 2.31 whats goin on??? I used a txt tmpgenc template and I used latest script and I have avisynth 2.53 installed I'm confused. (sorry for the long post)

weird !!!

X3 - Final CQ value is 45.05
X1 - Final CQ value is 2.31

if you like do your tests following these steps :

1. delete the old .tpr file
2. recreate the .tpr file with TMPGEnc
3. do X3 prediction
4. exit CQMatic
5. restart from step 1 and in step 3 make X1 prediction
see the 2 final CQ values
these are the right values !!!

At the end of the precessing, check the sample that was produced by cqmatic. Open it in wmp and watch till the end to see if there is an error "avisynth caught an error" that appears in the middle of the sample.

Note: you need 28 mintues for ONE test ? What CPU do you have ? Which script ? Which avs version ?

that 28mins would be me messin with the script, but now I moved back to normal script that was posted by kwag. Also is it best to use the d2v file in the tmpgenc project file or the avs script?
