Ok, first a little history.

I have encoded the Movie Frequency with both of the templates above.

My .avs script is Kwags Optimal script.

Can anyone tell me why while encoding in TEMPGEnc the screen appears to be much narrower with the (KVCD) TEMPGEnc template then when using the (S) KVCD template?

I can't figure this one out!

Same resolution, same exact .avs template........

Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Check in both case if tmpgenc aspect ratio is setted on the same choice ("center" or '"fullscreen").

I assume you mean under Video Arrange Method.

I see the following.

SKVCD-352x480-_NTSC template - Aspect ratio is set to "Full Screen (Keep aspect Ratio)

KVCD-CQ-352x480-_NTSCFilm_-PLUS template - Aspect ratio is set to "Full Screen (Keep aspect Ratio)

The only "sizing" difference I see between the two templates is that SKVCD-352x480-_NTSC template under Video - Aspect Ratio - says 4:3 525 Line NTSC and the KVCD-CQ-352x480-_NTSCFilm_-PLUS.mcf says "4:3 Display"

Hey thanks for the reply.

If that is indeed a problem I am not sure how it can be corrected.

Neither template lets you choose exactly the same aspect ratio. This was the template defaults?
