I would like to know wich MOVIESTACKERīs AVS script (filters) gives me the best quality for KSVCD (480x480) for XVID movies (.avi) AND DVD-rip (.d2v) movies to encode in TMPGEnc????
And I want to know how can I put subtitles over the black letterbox , not over the movie?

Forget moviestacker for optimal scripts, take a look here
http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3483
for DVD source and here
http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7223
for avi source.

Moviestacker is usefull for resize calc. Use it for that.

Thanks, I installed Moviestacker (with Avisynch 2.0) Then I installed Avisynch 2.5, Tmpgenc didnt recognize avs 2.5 script, I think I have to uninstall avisynch 2.0..
Or isnt there any problems if I keep avs 2.0 instead of 2.5? Can I get nice quality using 2.0 ?

Avs2.0 :
1/ is not maintained anymore
2/ has dozens of bugs that were fixed in 2.5 releases
3/ works in YUY2 only that is 35% slower tahn YV12
4/ works in YUY2 only whiler DVD are in YV12
5/ can't handle direct show correctly (needed for certain sources)

... do I continue ?
