Hi does the resolution size of the file affect the size of the mpg? I have a file that is being encoded at 544*480 KVCD, as previously recommended by Dialbot. and my mpg file size is 400 at 33% encoded. Is something going wrong here? Becuase I don't think I'll be able to burn the resulting file as a KVCD as I intend to do.

Higher resolutions need higher bitrates to look good, so yes, it does affect filesize. How did you do predictions for you movie?
I suppose you did not predict the final filesize, so no you'll probably not be able to burn it on one CD in the end. Use CQMatic to predict the final filesize and find an optimal CQ for your movie.
