So you could compile a version for OS X
I would like to try MencodeME in my PowerPC and my iBook, and I'm sure other too
Thanks,

Thanks!
@vmesquita:
Hate to bug you... but now the textbox font is ...erm _very_ little, unable to read text inside of it. But it's not that big of a problem as long as it won't affect the program functionality.
Now I'm off to test it... can't wait!
Thanks again,
/tetra

You can configure GTK based programs font somewhere. I used a smaller font in my Kurumin (knoppix based) box and looks perfectly here (just like windows). Please search for it.

Yes, I know about that, but it won't adjust the textbox font size, or any other fonts in MEncodeME for that matter. All other GTK-applications adjust like I want them to, like evolution (nice mail client) for example. But, it's not that big of a deal anyway. Instead, how about adding a button for saving the contents of the textbox?
Cheers,
/tetra

Did you unpack the target folder with the conf files inside? Please check this.

Hej buller.
As for the "Can not enumerate..." warning; you have to run MEncoderme from the directory it's unpacked to. I.e. "./MEncodeme" as opposed to "/usr/local/bin/whatever/MEncodeme"
I guess you could consider that a bug.
Regarding the libpng error, that shouldn't be related to MEncoderme, I think. It's a static binary that shouldn't depend on external libraries.

Just use the kdvd preset, and you'll be all set. And if you have problems with low bitrate, try this solution, which shall be added to next release:
http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10872
About the local folder bug, I forgot to use ./filters instead of /filters. I'll fix it.

My avi wont even open with this utility, it says:
Could not open file, make sure
Error
I hit ok and was able to go on, but after hitting encode, it just hangs:
Code:
mencoder -include temp.conf -lavcopts vbitrate=1200:vpass=1 "/home/me/dcup/movie" -o "/home/me/dcup/movie.mpv" MEncoder 1.0pre4-3.3.3 (C) 2000-2004 MPlayer Team

All i did in the options after loading the movie was this:
target: 1cd - KVCD
movie length: 83
Everything else was at default. Am i supposed to mess with the other options?
Here is the original avi movie info:
