Hmm, in almost any thread I'm reading excuses about "my bad English" or
"my not sophisticated English".

When I came to US few years ago I didn't speak a word, I was unable to
write or read English. Funny but I didn't understand security on the
airport, people in the store etc. Anyway after three months everything
was all right and I was able to understand, after six months I was able to
speak, after nine months I passed my job interview. Wow this was big deal.

Why I am writing that? Because my first words when I was going to a job
interview were "My English is not good. Sorry about that" and.... it took
me 2 months to find a job. Trust me any person in any country immediately
will know how good your are speaking his/her own language in first five
seconds. There is no need to tell "Sorry by my ... is not that good." to
anyone.

I still do many mistakes when I'm writing and when I'm speaking English.
It's not perfect and I'm still learning. Yes, that's the way. I don't think so
that someday I'll know English like my own language from which I'm
forgetting words sometimes because I'm not using it very often lately.

So, people, if you are writing here or anyware and other can understand,
and you are getting an answer or question... your language is good
enough. Maybe not sophisticated, maybe just your writing is acceptable,
maybe..., maybe...! There always will be maybe…. well maybe.

How good is my Portuguese or my Spanish? Very good. I can explain in
Spanish that I don't speak a word... I believe so I can learn that in Portuguese haha
