You could also use any other media player that is capable of playing mpeg1 or mpeg2

Windows Media Player
WinDVD
Zoomplayer

etc..

Give Zoom Player Standard a try, it's a great player and it will play your .mpeg file.

Hey Rendalunit..

I never knew Kwag made a KVCD player hehe, for kVCD encodes
and things LOL, it was so
CL !!

@ Kwag..

As a Tribute, I used one of the first sample clips posted by bilbogod,
"Farscape", which helped start the quality issues further hehe..
Bring back any fond memories ??

All that's needed now, is:
* copy pic to clipBoard/fileSave
* and some nav buttons for left/right keys (during pause)
* cleaner pause button on ( blank ) toolbar
* oh yehr, drag 'n drop clips to window - way
CL !!

@ Kwag..

If you're tired out w/ CQM, please, take the time, and vear from that project,
and mess around w/ kVCD Player (just for the heck of it)
- - surprise us.. bring that v0.9 to a final v1.0

chereo,

MPEG1 codec is provided by default on late windows version (ME, XP...).

If you encoded as MPEG2, you have to install a MPEG2 codec, for sure.

Do you know if you could put the KVCD player on a disk and boot a video from it? Eg;

[autorun]
KVCDplayer.exe my_mpeg1_movie.htm

or better still, play the vcd's .dat file ?

If I was to place the KVCD player in the root directory of the disk and use autorun as following, could it automatically start playing the video?

[autorun]
open=KVCDplayer.exe \MPEGAV\avseq01.dat

Does the KVCD player accept the video file as a parameter?

Do I need any other parameters such as /play /close ?
