Jinge bells, jingle bells..
I was doing shoping today with my test set of xvcds, skvcds and tryed dfferrent brands: mustek, panasonic, voxson, aiwa.
All of them played xvcds high video bitrates and skvcds mpeg2 with gop 25, different video buffer sizes from 46Kb to 230KB and (!) variable audio bitrate, frequency 48kHz.
(The only exception was a cheapest mustek on NTSC xvcd high video bitrate, but it could be a particular unit).
Price deviation was 1 to 3, so I picked up the most common brand mustek, as there is no correlation between price and *vcd capabilities.
