He is once again correct; I watch movies that have subtitles all the time on my pc. You have to have a subtitle filter installed which should come with the latest version of PowerDVD, WMV player, or whatever app you use to watch your movies. If you have a sub filter installed and the subs are merged with you dvd movie, avi, or mpeg file, just load and it should play fine. If you have your avi or mpeg file serperate from your sub, just name the sub file with the same name as your avi or mpeg file and put them into the same folder (movie file name= my movie, sub name= my movie). Then open the movie using your desired player (I personally use WMP and PowerDVD) and the player will know to load both the files and the subs should show up in the movie
Once again, I know this thread started in Feb. and if you've already found answer, great; I just thought I could help, thats all.
