My Pioneer 109 is making "No Play" DVDs. They play ion the dang PC but when I put them in all of my dvd players they are "No Plays" this is really starting to get sickening. These are Vertibim or whatever they are. The blanks dont even read in my DVD recorder, when the last batch did.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong??

What firmware? What burning software?
Nero is terrible about making compliant DVD-Video discs.

Im using Sonic Record Now 7.3, which just last week worked great. As far as firmware i could've sworn I just updated it two weeks ago.

What should I be using??

Why is it when I use shrink and transfer the files to a DVD folder that sometimes the files themselves get placed in the file folder out of order??

Is there anyway to stop this?? I still am having the same problem, its creating Region 0 copies ugh!!!

I don't know what you mean by "out of order".

ok I open the video_ts folder and instead of say the files being Video_TS, Video_TS.BUP etc. they would go Video_TS.BUP, Video_TS, Etc slightly out of order.

So any ideas why I can only make region 0 discs??

You can only make R0 discs, you never could make R1 discs unless you have pro software or are copying a commercial release AND left the R1 intact. The DVd-Video format orders files according to the DVD specs, it's not in alpha order. Usually it's IFO, then VOB, then BUP.

Yeah my best friend is the worlds biggest cheapskate, and doesnt buy dvds and only likes either homemade stuff or copies. So I deiced to make him a set of the star wars saga with the case thats from the site that jas the Star Trek "The ships of the line" cases. So I am copying the SW dvds for him and they are coming out R0 for some reason, and I left the R1 intact.

I think I know what you mean lol ! just right click , arrange icons by type. Reburn the dsc

It happened once or twice with me. You get files do not match source? . I get it occasionaly with sonic recordnow Dx.When its time to format lol ! Re install shrink . Or use different software .
Decrypter -Use ISO mode if all else fails to burn the image to your HD.
