Good evening! Wanted to put this VCR up for grabs in the marketplace before listing it on Ebay.
This is a 1984 Sears SR2000 Beta mono top-loading VCR. Model 564.53091450. Date code 110184.
VCR confirmed as working. Loads and plays tapes with no issue, connected to TV to confirm proper playback (see video below). Selling as is. No remote included.
Issues I noticed from using the VCR:
- a minor constant herringbone pattern in the picture (see video)
- VCR video output turns staticy if Rewind is pressed during playback. It doesn't damage the tape. I just press Stop before rewinding and there's no issue.

This VCR (model 564) advertised as working and tested is currently going for $90-$120 plus shipping on Ebay, parts only decks between $40-$50 plus shipping.
