I am re-capturing several hours worth of footage for a documentary project in hopes of a better quality capture after baking the tapes. We're on a budget, but that price could possibly work, as long as it's a high quality unit. I don't have the luxury of trying out anything that's not tested and solid. I've definitely learned that something cheap is more expensive in the long run if it doesn't perform well.
BTW - I looked at your youtube channel and it looks like the quality is really great. I certainly appreciate how you post your workflow devices for each capture in the description. Very helpful! And I appreciate you posting more information about the units on some other threads:
