Hello,
I currently have a JVC HR-S7800U with TBC that I use for my youtube channel. After many problems with replacing/refurbishing the rotary switch under the mecanism (must connect/disconnect the very short flat drum cable from board to access it), the flat cable broke partially and not detachable from the drum / not accessible on the drum's side.
The HR-S4800U is nearly identical to the HR-S7800U and the head drum is exactly the same part # but a lot cheaper that a 7800.
If anyone here haves that let me know. I will also consider other models with TBC and S-Video Output.
