I'm selling a Panasonic AG-1980P unit that needs repair.
History of the unit: I am only the second owner of this unit, and it has never undergone any repairs. The owner before me (the original owner) did not use it to transfer tapes, only to play them, and it had been collecting dust in his attic for quite some time.
I am not an expert, so I could not tell you exactly what repairs are needed, but please see the attached video for more context! Perhaps lordsmurf or any of the other knowledgeable people in this forum can offer some guesses as to what it might need. The unit powers on and accepts/ejects tapes, but it does not play them. It seems to get stuck after I press play. (Again, see the video where I demonstrate this.) It probably needs other maintenance.
Because it's a broken unit and I assume you will need to pay for repair (or perform the labor yourself), I've reflected this in the cost.
Unit comes with power cord.
