I have a Panasonic AG-1980P for sale. It's in decent cosmetic shape with scratches on top and a general used look. Playback is A-OK and the Y/C card seems to be holding its own. I haven't ever tried recording, so I can't say if it works or not.

Overall, I'd grade it a C+ to B-.

$75+S&H and it's yours. Images available upon request.

Payment via PayPal is required and I'm only willing to ship to an address within the USA. I'll let you decide on the carrier and speed.

I'll gladly buy it if you can confirm it doesn't suffer the chroma issue that mine does. [Clarifying: I mean that I'd like you to attach a 1 to 10 second lossless sample of a dark scene from an SP mode tape captured with the Detail/Norm/Edit switch set to Edit. You don't have to do any inspection yourself.]

The price sounds too good to be true for a properly-functioning unit, but I know you from other forums. I guess you've got all of your tapes digitized at this point?

I should say, as much as I'm interested, you should think about listing it on Craigslist. You could probably get $100+ and wouldn't have to deal with shipping it or PayPal deductions.

Yeah, the buyer was excellent and lived nearby in Silver Spring. He dropped by, inspected the unit, and we spoke for a bit.
