Wanted: MiniDV and 8mm rewinder

I have a VHS rewinder but would like both a miniDV and 8mm so I can rewind without extra wear and tear on my equipment, assuming this is a good idea?

Also would an 8mm rewinder work for D8, V8 and Hi8?

There was a Maxell mini DV rewinder made. I have just bought one and awaiting delivery later this month. Can report back on it. Yes an 8mm rewinder should rewind all 8mm types. I believe Sony made a good model but not cheap
