This is it: http://www.avtoolbox.com/avt8120.shtml

I bought this, wondering if it'd be a AVT-8710 replacement. It is not*. The "TBC" does nothing, and fails the easy Macrovision test. It doesn't even help with tearing like a pseudo-TBC found in the ES10/15 recorders.

However, the 4-way split may be interesting if you like to make your own short films for Youtube/etc. It's a potentially cool effect if you're doing any retro style shooting.

I want $25 for it, to cover the shipping. Like I said -- cheap!

Comes with the power supply.

The MSRP on this was several hundred.

You'll need 2 BNC>composite adapters: https://amzn.to/3JPcjzc

____________

* FYI: Some versions of the AVT-8120 use Cypress-type chips ("essentially composite green AVT-8710"), and act as TBCs. Some do not. The unit sold here was a "not".

** Longer FYI:
- As with anything else (VCRs, TBCs, capture card), there were multiple versions of the AVT-8120. Very specific versions have TBC present.
- But the "good versions" also need to have chips extracted (physically removed from the boards), and given undocumented firmware mods to be properly useful. (And firmware modding is something I do/did.) This sort of deconstructing gear is a very unpleasant exercise for 99.9%+ of the population. So much can go wrong. I know what I'm doing, and even I bricked units more than once!
- I've only had a few "good versions" over the years. Most units were indeed problematic, so AVT-8120 should never be random bought ("in the wild", eBay, etc), as it's a gamble NOT in your favor, easy to lose money unless cheap (like this $25 listing from 8 years ago).

- For sale in the marketplace: TBCs, workflows, capture cards, VCRs
