Deinterlacing DV pal 25i to 50p

Hi,

I have transferred some pal DV tapes via firewire using Windv.

The 720x576 DV AVI files are fine and look good at 25i or 25p with on the go deinterlacing when played in VLC.

Just put the files in C:\ drive, then follow instructions.

Hybrid settings, AVI to x264, advice for best settings?

Hi,

Looking to use Hybrid 2020 to convert lossless avi huffyuv to h.264 (mp4).

This is mostly for PC playback or streaming to smart TVs etc from a NAS drive over ethernet.

Restoring colour in VirtualDub on DV via WinDV?

Hi,

So I have copied some DV tapes that I had via firewire and Windv using a sony TRV-DCR-510E (type 2 capture)

All my other tapes have been HI8/V8 so I have been using virtualdub and huffyuv...

I also tested using the DV output (using analogue tape) and Windv and still got the chroma line issue so must be a camera issue.
