Toshiba M-462 eats tape past video head?
Digitized a bunch of tapes a few months ago, no problems. Cleaned it at that time. I recleaned for a few more I need to do. Now it is eating tape. See pic and the video showing what's happening below...

After posting the question, I closed the elgato app that I am using to digitize the VHS tapes, and then reopened, and the audio glitch was gone. Not sure why that...

Audio garbled after two VCR cleanings?

I have been digitizing my home videos. I started after an internal cleaning with isopropyl 99% and chamois sticks cleaning the heads. Worked good enough...
