My workflow

Panasonic NV-J31HQ - Composite - Panasonic ES10 - Composite - ATI TV Wonder 600 USB

Audio through composite, both through ES10 or direct from VCR, with different results (both out of sync).
Also I tried video straight from VCR.

My problem is, video keeps delaying from audio. They start on sync but video starts to delay after a while.
I tried every timing setting i´ve found on the forum, but cant fix it.

In one post LordSmurf mention that timing settings should stay at default.
Does anybody knows what are timing default values? Or is there a way I can reset them to defaut? I reinstalled vdub but it keeps remebering last settings.

I did capture video and audio on sync on one of my first test captures, thats why I suspect default values may work (I suppose I used default values on that test).

Thank you for any advice on this!

The default timing settings should be like this from my understanding

VirtualDub_DefaultCaptureTimingSettings.PNG

Though I suspect the cause of audio sync issues would be because of the lack of a Frame Time Base Corrector, as I've heard that they are used to correct such as an issue, along with preventing frame drops and overall preventing the capture card from not being able to capture the rather finicky VHS/Video8 signal by instead cleaning the signal itself and making it stable for the capture card to well, capture without throwing a fit (ie causing dropped frames and/or audio sync issues)

This might help https://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/vid...-settings.html

What’s your CPU usage at? How many dropped or inserted frames are you getting?

I reset my timing settings entering regedit and deleting Virtualdub.org
Then restarted Virtualdub and settings where at default.
Sync problems where fixed with default settings.
