I have the boards completely desoldered from the main board, and am going through to inventory the electrolytic capacitors to order, im finding, on the very 1st board, 2 different sizes in diameter , and height, yet they have the same value, this example happens to be, 4.7uf / 6.3V 85c temp range, i do notice one is a "KA" series, and the other is a "CE" series, (see the photos), maybe i just answered my own question, the only difference between the 2 are, the series of types of capacitors they are, nothing else? any insight, on this will be appreciated,

The larger one is bi-polar, so you need a replacement that is also bi-polar.
Also I would assume they are 47uf, not 4.7uf.

hodgey is right.
Larger cap has no grey stripe to indicate negative side. It also has BP printed on it.
Although, you can have the exact same capacitance and voltage rating but have different sizes. Miniature if you need it to fit in a certain small space. Larger is better for heat dissipation though... prolongs the life of the cap somewhat.

Yep, agree with everything here.
It's distinctly unwise to replace polarised with non-polarised, doubly so if they are handling any sort of voltage beyond something you'd be prepared to touch!
