AG-1980 squeal during eject process?

I have been struggling with this squealing during tape eject, on my AG1980, and only when my VCR is in the horizontal position, and only in the eject mode, no squeal during FF or RW, only during eject, i made a short video, to show you,
the funny thing is, as you will see in the short video, that when i set the VCR on its side, and eject a tape, , the squeal goes away,(or does not appear) but in the normal horizontal position it returns, can anyone tell me, which parts may need replaced or lubricated to stop this horrid sound? thanks in advance if anyone has some suggestions

AG-1980 decks make so many noises. Yes, it's obnoxious at times. The issue with squealing isn't always lube, but the pulleys for bands.

Please don't be stupid and squirt WD-40 inside. Somebody at this forum did that years ago, screwed his deck up, got it on the heads. It's a VCR, not a bike chain.

I'm not familiar with this mechanism. It could be a slipping rubber belt but sounds more like a worn/dry bearing in the mechanism controlling pinch roller, brakes and maybe cassette eject.

Operating the deck horizontally does reduce the load on the cassette eject mechanism as there's not the weight of the cassette to lift. But interestingly the noise seems to start even before the cassette is ejected so not sure why that is.

I recently picked up an AG-1980, which appears to have been sitting for a while, and I also noticed this sound squealing sound. Like others, I too thought maybe there was something that needed lubrication, but now I'm not so sure. I'm stuck.
