Stop playing that tape in the deck before it ruins it, That tape has the sticky shed syndrome, What brand the tapes are? Ampex by any chance? Clean the tape transport and bake your tapes.

I have two types of tapes. 3 Sony BCT-30M and
three BASF Beta broadcast 20

The 3 sony tapes did not give any trouble. But the 3 BASF did.....

Do not do this.
Do not experiment on client tapes, ever. Highly unethical.
It does a disservice to the client.
Never chance ruining client tapes.
Refer the client to an experienced operation for baking. I highly suggest SpecBros here.
