Hi, can anyone give me any pointers on an Oscilloscope specs for vcr allingment please? That is all that I will be using it for so don't need any bells and whistles. I am in Australia so probably don't have access to second hand models that you guys do. I have seen a TRIO CS-1560AII and a HITACHI V-152B here for sale, would either of these do the job? Thanks in advance.

Both look to be analog scopes which should be fine for adjusting tape path alignment. The main pointer would be to use an analog scope as they just tend to display RF waveforms better in my opinion.

Many thanks for taking the time to look those up. I bought the TRIO CS-1560AII, it is analog CRT and in imaculate condition. Wasn't sure of the frequency range need. This is upto 15mhz which is enough I have since learnt.
