DVD RECORDER DRMV150B TURNS OFF 30 SECONDS AFTER TRYING TO STARTUP.
Can hear it clicking at first a little to try loading disc and says 'hello' but after about 30 seconds unit turns off. Have reset several times with user manual instructions with no success.

I purchased another used unit the same as this one and after recording/playing a dozen DVDS successfully, it did the same thing.

Use to record over-the-air from TV. I am on SS and need it very much. Can't afford Dish Network, DTV or Cable. PLEASE HELP. Thank You.

I had a similar issue. Replace all the electrolytic caps on the power supply board. Sometimes they test ok but are on the edge of failure.
