Hello !

I am new here, a wonderful forum with a lot of information in it !!

I have a Pixel view card with a conexant CX23881-19 chip.
I want to record in digital files about 20 VHS cassetes with different quality They are made on different cameras, there is re-recorded some of parts, etc ...

The problem I have, if it can be called a problem, is that the maximum resolution that the software offers me is 352x288, and in many places I read that I should be able to capture at 576x720.

I tried a lot of drivers and the result is still 352x288.

On the other hand, I bought an AverMedia C039. It has the option of 576x720, but the end result is not satisfactory.

In short, the quality of the final result with Conexant, although at a lower resolution, is better than C039.

I am asking for advice

Sorry for the bad English!

Thanks !

The chip it self should support it at least, I have a different card with that chip and it supports 720x576 fine. What application are you using to capture with?
