I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this issue with their 600 USB. The cord that plugs into the device seems pretty loose. Is this typical?

It is causing capture issues where the video is flickering. Attached is an example capture to this post. Seems to get worse when you play with the cords.

Is this a known issue? Do I need to purchase a new capture card?

Thanks!

Do you have a TBC in the chain (in other words are you sure the cord is the cause of the image disruption) ? Is it possible to show a photo of the "loosness" of the cord ?

Where did it come from? There are common 600 issues, due to using the wrong AV plug. I've seen this way too often on eBay listings, comes with random cords. Sometimes not even something that fits it, obviously wrong plug shape entirely.

Are you properly using it with the USB extension?

Beyond the 600, you have s-video cables, or other workflow gear. So some troubleshooting required, to isolate the error origin.

Lack of TBC could be an issue.

However, what you're seeing here is what happens when you try to use ATI 600 USB with Win10, sometimes Win8. Are you using that OS? That card cannot be used with that OS. The OS is bad for capture, well known issue, do not blame the quality card.
