I am trying to install GV USB 2 drivers onto my Parallels Desktop windows 11 emulator on my Mac using this setup guide.

https://iotku.pw/gvusb2-guide/

I follow the guide exactly and am able to open the the support software screen and the device driver installation wizard.

However every single time I get the result "Cannot Complete The Device Driver Installation Wizard"

Errors were encountered while installing the software for your device. See the status column for more details.

Sometimes it helps to run this wizard again. If that doesn't work, contact your device vendor.

Driver Name: gvusb2.inf
Status: Install Failed

This is the same error I encounter every time I try to use the device driver installation wizard. Has anyone else had this same issue?

Ooops. Didn't meant to send it to this topic. Does anyone know how I can delete it to avoid cluttering the website?

I haven't used parallels specifically but for other virtual machines at least USB devices won't always work well unless they've specifically worked on support for it like with usb disk drives. May or may also be some option to give direct access to the usb device to the operating system running in parallels which could help.

You cannot capture in VMs. Direct hardware installed OS required.
