I'm encountering an issue with my Pinnacle 510-usb capture card when using VirtualDub. Even after trying multiple versions of VirtualDub and ensuring that drivers have been installed, the "Format..." option under the Video menu remains disabled. My captures are ending up at a resolution of 352x240, whereas the guides recommend 720×480.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue with the Pinnacle 510-usb in VirtualDub or can offer some insight into resolving this?

Appreciate any assistance!

"Format" is not correct location.

Verify "Capture pin" and "Capture filter" info.
If needed, "Set custom format" at bottom of Video menu, in capture mode.

That was it - "Capture pin" indeed had the option.
