Removing a frame TBC won't prevent frame drops -- at least when the unit is quality, as this specific unit is, as I can vouch for the exact unit in his possession.

With the gear in use here, it's definitely internal to the capture computer. This can be resolved.
This is either I/O (ie, trying to capture to the OS drive), or it's a
VirtualDub setting (something simple, like wrong fps).
