Hello all,

I'm planning on buying a Philips VR1000 vcr. It doesn't come with a remote, and although I wouldn't mind just using the unit's controls, I've been informed I will need one to access the menus.

Does anyone have a recommendation about which remote to buy?

Thanks.

Since the Philips VR1000 is a JVC clone, I was told I need a specific remote to access the JVC menus.
Does anyone know?

It is a JVC clone, but I am not sure JVC remote will work with it. I advise to contact vcrshop.com, I am sure he has an answer.
