ATI produced a boatload of these cards -- which has been great for all of us users.
MSRP on these was $100+ (100-150 range) back around 2005, just before the AMD buyout of ATI. Pricing often still hovers in that MSRP range, though now used+inflation.
Fun fact: In 2009, AMD dumped their stock onto Woot (before
Amazon bought and ruined it). The cards were clearanced at $24.99 (+shipping?). Also, back then, no tax! I bought one for myself. In the mid 2010s, and probably for that "fire sale" reason, ATI 600 USB prices could sometimes still be found in the $25-40 range (plus tax, plus shipping). Often new, often boxed. I came across a stash for sale, bought it, and sold them here to members for $50 each (ie, no meaningful profit, after all expenses). Ah, those were the days!
