I wonder someone tried glass cleaning wipes instead of traditional paper/IPA for head cleaning?
They are lint free and works very well on glass and camera image sensors.
Just curios.

Seems dangerous to me since there's some what appear to be fibers that could grab a head and break it. Paper/alcohol is plenty safe for that reason and would personally stick with that.

Yes, perhaps good old method is the best. And cheaper.

The fibers are compact but could still present an issue. The video heads are very tiny, and not seamlessly built into the drum (which some people might falsely believe). They're tiny prongs wrapped in tiny copper wires and will snag fibers off materials.

I've used these for a couple years, but still have to be mindful.

Those was always used and are safe:

But sadly they are discontinued and there was some reports they are tend to degrade with time.

So you never know what you get when you buy them.

I have some (about 50) left still in good condition, they are very useful for hard to reach places, but no more new available.

So for drum - paper+IPA.
