Looking for some insight from the community in resolving an issue I have using VirtualDub and the Diamond ATI HD 750 PCIe capture card.

I'm attempting to capture video for processing and have received the message "The current capture format is not compatible with AVI files" which has left me dead in the water.

I've attempted reinstalling the drivers, updating the drivers, and using the windows default drivers but this has not resulted in any changes. The capture software included with the card works but is extremely limited and will only capture in compressed MPEG (I'd like to use HuffyAV so that I can remove the interlacing prior to compression).

Any insight the community has to offer is greatly appreciated. The system I'm running is as follows:

Windows 7 (Ultimate x64)
i7 Processor
32GB DRAM
Diamond ATI Wonder HD750 PCIe capture card

Make sure you have the right hardware selected, and click 'set custom format' and make sure it reads 720x480
