Most of my test have been done on PAL and PAL-N decks, since I am from Argentina.
I have some NTSC and NTSC/PAL decks too.

So far I haven't seen any hifi deck by any other brand that has Y/C separation internally to output Svideo.
Still, I haven check'd all the decks that exists. Yet so far the Sony's are the most compatible with this mod.

Regarding dot crawl, i have done some testing but also working on a separate board for adding extra comb filtering and noise reduction (optional) on the circuit.

Hello everyone, I have a question about making an S-Video modification on a Panasonic NV-SD420 VCR: what are the names of the pins and their grounds? Could it be some common ground for the whole VCR? In the attachment I add service manual.
