I recently bought a Sony WX9 digital cam, and have to insert the videos captured on Power Point for a presentation. What you recommend me? I need to change the format but the codifying also. Which software should I go for? Any expert? Thanks

If this is for a one-off of some kind, you can use Avidemux (freeware) for the conversion.
Input the MP4, save as MPEG-1.

What does "codifying" mean, exactly? I'm not entirely clear on what that part of your question means.

Hope that helps.
