Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of converting several home video tapes to DVD. The guides on this forum have been a great help and I've been able to get fairly decent results. I wanted to ask if more experienced users could convert the sample source AVI I have linked below to a DVD compliant MPEG2 file so I can compare end results and see if I still have room for improvement.

The linked source file is an interlaced NTSC DV file at 720x480 resolution created on a Windows PC. The end result I would like to request is an NTSC DVD compliant MPEG2 file at the same resolution. I only have one hour of video per disc so I am encoding using a constant bitrate of 8000 kbps for video and 224 kbps for audio to maximize quality.

Please ask if you have any questions and I appreciate the help! Thank you.
