I am editing some PAL DV in Resolve on a Windows PC. Trying to work out the best export format that will play nicely with other software for encoding etc.

I can't see anything that works in Avidemux. AVI with Grass Valley codec works in Premiere Elements and Vegas. Does anyone use anything else?

Quick update: The free version of Resolve is a great NLE that works very well with progressive HD but I have stopped trying to make it do the thing it struggles with.

Just bought Vegas in the summer sale. Absolute bargain! Get there fast as the sale ends tomorrow!
