Hi again, TF1945 is back on the forums baby! So I recently bought a Panasonic PV-S9670 Omnivision 4 Head Hi-Fi VHS Player and it's a really nice looking machine, even supporting S-Video and having S-VHS capabilities. I did check the forums beforehand to see if anyone discussed this VCR, but not many.
I spent nearly 100 dollars with combined shipping and it came with everything. The remote, manual, cables, etc.
While this is a decent machine to restore tapes, I have one slight issue.

The video signal gives this weird effect and I was wondering what filters I should use to restore the picture with Hybird.
I have a sample pic in the attachments.
I also have this Barney and the Backyard Gang intro up using this VCR, with a few edits done with Hybird and Vegas Pro. It's online rn, OMFG, already over 200 views?!?!?!?!?!

I still have my Sharp VCR, but I am considering using it for normal use only or as a backup in case something happens to this VCR.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hey, my dude. Is there a filter in Hybrid to help fix my issue? I find Avisynth too complicated to use.

Doesn't look like "comet tails" to me (typically caused by either bad grounding or dirty heads). Something is causing the image to be smeared, does it happen on all tapes? Bad video signal coupling capacitors can cause that sort of problem or it could be some other issue.

Most likely the capacitor. I already seen some forums discussing it. In terms, check my video and image attachment at the beginning of this thread please.
Was just asking if there was a temporary solution to fix the picture like Avisynth or Hybrid. I've been using hybrid for the past several days now.
