What to you think about that?

Contours = edge

The S-video output and input are present.

Use to be expensive device in the 2000.

Trying to read sideways always gives me a headache. So here's a fixed version:

sva3600-procamp.jpg

Looks good to me.

It has less controls than an Elite Video BVP-4 / BVP-4 Plus, but possibly more control than SignVideo units. And neither of those have audio corrections, like this one does. This unit in the photo actually reminds me of various discontinued Edirol equipment from last decade. I never did get my hands on any of those, because they were hard to find, and simply cost too much.

Thanks for putting stuff in perspective about size and also difference tbc vs proc amp...etc.

It's funny because in my quest for PAL video filters devices. I found that I can give a try for a like-new huge ampl the SVA 3600 for very cheap (50$), I know that new those device were in the 4 digit (EURO). He have S-video in and out and can treat PAL, NTSC and Secam. Also some ampl for audio.

Cannot be worse that a cheap TBC, I am very tempted to give a try...

Have a nice day.
