Hybrid 2024.01.12.1 will not open, gives error?

I did a quick search of the forum for this error with no results. Windows 7.
"The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library dxgi.dll."

Since i was having resizing issues, i deleted Hybrid and installed the latest version

Selur? Help?

Looking at Hybrid's website, it says that version 2020.12.13.1 was the last supported version for Windows 7. Any version after that would only work on Windows 10 and above.

Also, as far as I know, there is no benefit to having an updated version of Hybrid, for the basic needs you're using. Most updates have been bug fixes, or added new features that even I'm not using (either yet, or maybe never).

Install 2020.12.13, use it, don't worry about "latest & greatest" version.

You can probably bribe selur with a donation, to push through a Win7 compile for 2024.
