What is the best capture card for Windows 7? I have a DataVideo TBC-1000 on the way, which I’ll be using with a Sony Handycam Video8 CCD-TR84 NTSC, as well as an S-VHS player that I plan to buy down the line. Working with NTSC only.

I plan to capture lossless using VirtualDub (with Huffyuv codec) on a 2009 Dell Inspiron Laptop with Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4300 @ 2.10GHz and 3.00 GB RAM on 64-bit. If this isn’t ideal, I would consider purchasing/building a computer with Windows XP, so a USB capture card that could work on either system might be my best bet.

Looks like ATI and Pinnacle are popular, but not sure which models. Open to any suggestions. Thanks!
