ATI AIW X1900 driver options?

To anyone who uses or has used or just knows about the driver support for this card or I suppose any of the PCIe AIW cards that use the same drivers, my simple question is whether it's normal to not have use of the Levels function in VD without going into the menu each time. After playing around with a USB600 and Hauppage clone, I find this limitation more and more annoying. I imagine I'm currently using the default drivers packaged on the CDRom that came with my card.
